I once heard an analogy About Life given by a Rabi.

What would happen if we unplug a refridgerator from the electricity source?  We know that without electricity the fridge would just be a box.  it would not function in the way it was designed to function.  Everything in the Fridge would spoil and be useless, In fact the food inside would become too toxic for human consumption.

Unpluging the Fridge would stop the flow of electricity, causing the electricty to return to it's source.  But the Electrictiy continues to exist.  It continues to live on.  The Rabi used this analogy to explain life-after death.  He explained that we never truely die.  Our body is like the Fridge.  The electricity is our soul.  Our Soul lives on and our body ceases to function when we are Unpluged.

I would like to add that Living an Abundant Life means staying plugged in to the Life Source.  We know that the life source is Jesus Christ.  As long as we stay plugged in to him we are able to function to the capacity and design that God intended for us.  As long as we are connected to Him our body responds well to our soul who is getting it's life from The Source of Life, Himself.

This should encourage us to reflect on what we are connected to.

Are we plugged into the Living God?

John 10:10 says, "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly."

Psalm 16:11 says, "You will make known to me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand there are pleasures forever."

Jesus came so that we would have an abundance of life.  In Him we have his resurrected life.  A life of power and grace.

Walk with Him and enjoy life abundantly.
