Did anyone experience something New this first week of December?

On December 1st through the 2nd a snow storm came through our region and many of us welcomed it with joy.  Snow days were granted and Work-At-Home opportunities were taken. Interstingly, as I looked out the window in the morning it felt like it was a whole New Era we had just enterened into.

I was not feeling well so I was glad to stay home.  I even was able to take an afternoon nap!  As I napped I had a most peculiar dream that I felt to share.

Dream

I found myself at my home bundled up in my coat, scarf, hat and gloves ready to go outside.  As I walked outside I noticed that it was not Winter but rather, Spring.  I began to take my gloves and hat off as I looked around perplexed, because I knew it was December and we had just gotten our first snow.

The Tree in front of my house was now- what I can only compare to- a beautiful and unique looking Willow tree.  itt was like nothing I had ever seen before!  The leaves of the tree were so green and healthy, that the leaves danced in the wind in a very poetic way.

As I looked at the Tree the wind picked up and I could feel that it was strong enough to carry me if I let go, so I did! I closed my eyes and leaned back into the wind and it carried me to the side of the house where my husband was planting something.  I noticed that there was a very unique almost tropical tree growing in front of our bay window.  I  told my husband, did you notice these trees?  And did you notice it's now spring?  And he points to another beautiful healthy plant that is also very different and says, "yes, I've noticed, look at this plant!"

I looked around and noticed wildlife all around our yard, bouncing around and flying happily as if winter had never even happened.

As I woke up I instantly felt in my spirit,  "New Era".  and revelations 21:5 came to mind: And the One seated at the throne said, "behold I make all things new".

In the dream I remember feeling as though I was at home but in another dimension, everything looked the same, yet different.

Upon meditating on this dream I inquired of Holy Spirit if I was seeing what heaven would be like. As we awaken to heaven will it be just like that; One minute it's winter and the next we are in a New Season?  One day we are on Earth and in the blinking of an eye we are in the New Jerusalem?

1 Corinthians 15:50-52 tells us how it will be when the last Trumpet sounds:   I declare to you, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. 51 Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— 52 in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.

I want to encourage you to read 1 Corinthians 15 today.  This chapter ends urging us to stand firm.  As the Lord showed me that Winter is temporary and short I want to remind you that your days of darkness are equally as short.  One day you will open your eyes to a new season.  I would dare to say you are already there!

In the evening as I looked at our back yard I noticed that this beautiful first snow was so white that the reflection of the light of the moon at night lit up the woods behind our North east Ohio home.

The Light has come Arise and rejoice in this New Day.  He has made all things new.  He sends the snow to purify and water the earth and as surely as He does this every year we see that same expression of Love manifest in our Spiritual Eternal life.  Welcome to the Neos (never has been before) Season!
