When I was a little girl I cried about anything.  I felt intimidated about any opposition that entered my life.  If someone looked at me too long I would cry.  If someone told me they liked me I would cry.  Looking back at that, I see now how ridiculously shy I was.

The great intimidator started early with me.  But Jesus!

2020 has proven to be a season where the great intimidator has returned full force against me.  I have struggled to speak or write.  The little that I've been able to write in the past 7 months has come from a place of grace.

Are you feeling intimidated?  Do you feel like there is a struggle to speak or share what is in your heart?  Do you have a desire to encourage others, but nothing seems to flow?

You are not crazy and you are not alone!

Today I felt to encourage you to stand up to the spiritual bully of intimidation as you pray in the Spirit.  There is grace in the Spirit.  The Spirit of Grace is available for all who seek the face of God.  In His presence there is fullness of joy.  Apart from Him we cannot move effectively at all.  His Grace is sufficient for all our weaknesses.
Let the Lord fight for you, as you PRAY in the SPIRIT.  He, the Word, Goes before you.
The enemy has been busy trying to intimidate the voices of God's people.  His Message must be preached and we His people should be saturating the airwaves with the sounds of the Living Word.  Speak it. Write it.  share it.  When we speak the word of God it is breaking the stronghold of the intimidator.  Yes, he gets furious and his hate manifests in various ways, but God promises to keep us under the shadow of His wings.
In this Season I am reminded of this:
Proverbs 25.15 - With patience a ruler may be persuaded, and a soft tongue will break a bone.
and
Deuteronomy 3:22 - You shall not fear them, for it is the Lord your God who fights for you.’

And Grace, Upon Grace! Remembering that God extends so much Grace and Mercy to us and so we have no right to withhold grace and mercy from others.

Luke 6:35-36 - But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for he is kind to the ungrateful and the evil. Be merciful, even as your Father is merciful.
